Kikyo had only heard stories of Inuyasha’s elder brother, but never ran into him before while she was alive. It was why she didn’t really put too much effort into hiding her presence so much from him. The priestess stepped out from her spot behind the bushes and approached the demon, gaze trained on him as she walked.

“And of your ward and the demon who follows you around? It seems they are not with you at the moment.”

The sudden weight on the back of his hankimono caught him by surprise, color him mildly impressed at the sheer audacity of someone to touch his person without explicit permission from the demon lord. Golden Hues turned down and to the side, taking in the shockingly pink hair before taking in the rest of the child’s appearance.

The smell wafting off the child had the demon ready to slit his neck for even daring to come within a mile of him, either the child had never heard of a bath in his life or he’d rolled in something particularly foul to gain a smell as insulting as this.
