How do you feel about with sympathy
I was raised on Depeche Mode, so I know a banger when I hear one!! it's def not one of my favorite records by Ministry, but I do like it a whole lot and I come back to it pretty regularly. I enjoy the reworked versions from Squirrelly Years too. I also think it's great that it exists because it just shows how broad this band's sound is
when did you start getting into ministry (or industrial in general)…
industrial in general - yeeears ago. the first band I discovered was Skinny Puppy, but they scared the shit out of me, so I didn't really get into them right away. then, back in middle school, I read Marilyn Manson's biography and through that I found out about Nine Inch Nails. I started researching and fell in love with the bands that get put into the "industrial" category
in early NIN interviews, Reznor mentions Al and Ministry a LOT, so that's how I found out about them. I didn't really start listening to or researching Ministry super thoroughly until about a little over a year ago
I laugh thinking the universe kept them from me because it was saving them for the right moment. I got heavily into Ministry after someone very close to me passed away and this band got me through some of the worst times in my life. I'll never be able to put into words how much they mean to me
