Why does she talk like she's writing about herself on a fandom forum
I don't know, she talks like that on Arcade too. That's just how her dialogue is.
For the kink ask game! Non-standard cocks, knots, barbs, etc etc
No | rather not | I dunno | I guess | Sure | Yes | FUCK yes | Oh god you don’t even know |
day by day it gets harder to beat the furry allegations. dicks are nice in general, non standard ones even more so. @irkimatsu and their huskposting got me intrigued by barbs recently, but alas i am at work so i'm knot going into detail on which ones i like
As much as I love gudaguda does anyone else struggle to empathize with Saitou and Okita’s concerns? Like gudaguda5 didn’t have the same impact as stay night because Shirou’s ideals came from a good heart, while The Shinshengumi was an organization responsible for silencing and intimidating political dissidents, so it makes it hard to feel bad for them.
it's not the same impact cuz they're not the same characters and also shirou & saber are from an 80 hour vn while saito & okita are from a series of comedy events in a mobile game.
the shinsengumi have gained a pretty glamorous image in popular culture because there's just something incredibly narratively appealing about a group of samurai trying to protect the old ways amidst the rapidly changing times but even with the lighthearted tone of gudaguda fate doesn't deny that they were mostly glorified thugs. especially type redline really leans into okita being a dead eyed back alley slasher more than anything approaching a noble samurai.
which they know! okita knows she was just a back alley slasher and saito knows they were all glorified thugs and they're all struggling with how all the thuggery and back alley slashing didn't even achieve any of the noble goals it was supposedly meant to serve. there is no reward for their hard work and loyalty because in hindsight it's obvious that the cause was never that just and even if it was they completely failed it. why do you think they all get so petty around izou? he's the one known as manslayer and failure but they're no better than him and they hate it.
the flavour in the comparison to shirou and saber comes from precisely what you pointed out namely that their morals are a lot more scuffed and their motivations a lot more selfish. their ideal is far less about helping others and more about upholding loyalty, and even that they couldn't achieve because the shinsengumi effectively tore itself apart, because they were glorified thugs who solved disagreements with death. but glorified thugs as they were, as a swordsman okita was truly admirable and as a swordsman saito could not help but admire her. the path was thankless and achieved nothing but bloodshed, but the feelings of hoping to play a part in shaping the future and valuing loyalty as the highest virtue that prompted them to walk it are not in themselves mistaken and neither is it wrong for any of them to still pursue personal happiness in spite of their personal crimes and failures. that's what it's about here.
Valentines event but it’s just Ritsuka and Cupid Caren being shippers hiding in trashcans to watch dates and matching up servant couples.

How’d you get into nasu worksv
Apocrypha! Specifically because of Astolfo…
Any Lu Bu figures?
no.... not only does he have no figures, but he doesn't even have a mfc page (even don quixote has a mfc page). maybe someday he'll be added to the duel collection line but rn all he has for Any sort of merch is a pin and a rubber strap
edit: he does have a mfc page and a bit more than a pin and rubber strap i was wrong, still no figures though
Lu Bu is one of those servants I wish got attention, because stuff like his sacrifice scene gives hints towards a deeper character, despite him getting barely any attention.
Fun Fact: Canonically he’s one of the few berserkers to go out of their way to protect their master, even with no orders being given, according to official materials.
I definitely agree. I feel like he has a lot of potential to explore, yet even in FGO he doesn't get anything. I feel like a lot of the times (at least maybe for the earlier berserkers?) they get slept on. I want to see more of his time with Rani, I feel like it could be a very nice parallel with Illya and Herc's :(. I'm not sure if I choose to save Rin if I'll get to see more of Lu Bu so when I go back and do that I hope so.
Also, if that's true on the materials, I think that's really great. From what I know even though Herc went all out against Gilgamesh, Illya still ordered him to fight--Spartacus and Lancelot kind of did whatever they wanted--and Rani actually told Lu Bu to stand down (against Hakuno at least) and he still tried his best to protect her and then sacrificed himself. There's just so much they could explore 'sighs' but thank you for the info!
