A bathing headcanon and a drinking headcanon -- righto.
Bathing Headcanon
There are sonic showers in the crew quarters and the medbay of Virtueâs Thief. There used to be a sonic in the captainâs quarters, but after Eva made it big as the Voidhound, she replaced the sonic with an authentic, XS Light Freighter original water shower. This is a seriously luxury item in the SWTOR-verse, in part because sonics are more effective at cleaning a person, but nowhere near as pleasurable as a nice, hot shower. This is probably the most indulgent thing she ever did for herself.Â
Until she got herself a bathtub after Nathema. The fact that Lana didnât want her to go back to Smug Life was a downer, but she was the only person who could command the Eternal Fleet; if she didnât, it would go rogue all over the galaxy. After it was destroyed and she revealed herself to be the owner of Odessen, she appropriate funds for her antique, claw-footed bathtub, complete with a side-along mini bar. The tub itself is comfortable enough to lounge in, so sometimes Eva goes there to think and drink, fully clothed.Â
Drinking/Drunk Headcanon
This isnât a funny one. Eva is an alcoholic. She acknowledges it. She is a functional alcoholic. She does have rules -- no drinking on duty, no drinking when the ship needs to be piloted, no drinking when sheâs sad -- but if none of the above applies, she drinks daily. She doesnât get stumbling blind drunk. Eva does not drink enough to suffer withdrawal symptoms when she does stop, but she certainly exceeds how many units one should drink in week. She has built up a tolerance, so she can outdrink men several times her size.Â
Eva doesnât bother with the term ârecoveringâ or âreformedâ -- she has no intent of either. Â
We saw pieces of this in âLove in the Time of Technoplagueâ where she quit drinking for several months since the possibility that Ivory sold her (and Port Nowhere) out emerged; the uncertainty of whether Darok and Arkous were looking for her and the âwill they/wonât theyâ of the Theron situation made her pretty miserable. Eva can deal with certainties, no matter how much they suck. So no drinking for months. She starts drinking again after Mandos try to assassinate her -- well, now she knows.Â
Being bored also fuels Evaâs drinking and also can escalate them into a revival of a drug habit she kicked after Darmas -- weâll see that on Rishi. Evaâs tastes were more exotic than just spice when she and Darmas ran late nights at the tables. (Risha is actually the recreational spice dabbler on Virtueâs Thief; she does it at parties and on holidays, but thatâs it.)  Theron makes it clear to her that he doesnât tolerate the drugs; she has to be clean to have anything to do with him.Â
After the five-year popsicle incident, Eva did cut back on the drinking at doctorâs advice and at Theronâs insistence; no drugs at all, since she had no idea how awful would her body respond. However, for a three-month period after Nathema, she cuts loose across the galaxy after being far too well-behaved for a smuggler for almost three years. Theron actually gets a premature report of a drug overdose off Canto Bight, but Bowdaar quickly issues a correction -- she faked an overdose to avoid being arrested. After reconciliation and marriage to Theron, Eva is permanently off the drugs unless itâs in the name of business (she still runs drugs in Voidfleet - people demand the product, she supplies it). Drinking is voluntarily limited to matching Theron drink for drink, without the help of his implants.
