Alright. In the spirit of Halloween Iām going to be doing something Iāve frankly been terrified to do and that is ask for beta readers, more specifically ask for some lovely volunteers to read and review the first five chapters of my book. Persephoneās Famine. Hereās everything you need to know.
-Persephoneās Famine is a supernatural drama about a girl who can turn into a ghost. The description can be seen below.
Wendy Evans woke up one afternoon in a hospital bed, and that was the afternoon everything in her crummy life changed in ways no twelve year old could have predicted. She received the ability to teter upon the lines of living and dead, to transform into a ghost. No explanation, it justā¦.happened. Cut to fourteen years later and sheās moonlighting as a vigilante whilst calling a rental house with her sister home all while working a crappy job at an even crappier gas station. Things are about to change in her life again though when Wendy starts hearing a strange noise no one else can and begins to suspect someone somewhere is watching her so, maybe itās about time she learned more about her āpowersā.
-The reader must be at least 17 or older
-The reader must honestly answer any questions I have for how they feel about the story and or my writing as a whole.
-There will not be a designated time limit to read all the chapters ( I may check in if itās like past a year maybe ,but hopefully that wonāt be the case)
-I will not be able to pay out any money to you readers, however if you happen to like my art Iāll be willing to give you a free drawing of you or one of your characters as long as it isnāt nsfw,gore,etc. Another possible avenue of payment is me beta reading your story, I can read anything except nfsw.Ā
