Beautiful “MU” flatware designed by Architect Toyo Ito, for Alessi. While I appreciate the aesthetic beauty of this flatware, I have to question how good it is to actually use. The round shape of the handle doesn’t allow for much torque in the hand, so using the edge of a fork or spoon to slice into something may be uncomfortable, as the utensil would tend to turn in your hand. Generally speaking, tools - including tableware - should be “hand-filling” for the most comfort in use.
