Maxie stepped forward, crossing his arms. The other would not be able to hide in the shadows around him. He had no patience for men of his calibre. Who had to manipulate for others to see the value of their cause, rather than rely on the causes own merit.

“Like hell you don’t” She hissed, her hand coming down hard on his desk as she leaned against it, just to get closer to his face and still maintain what little she had in terms of height on him at the moment.

"I do not have time to deal with YOU!"

“Cool! I would much rather avoid dealin’ with your ass too, but I think neither of us will be happy.”
