he could tell something was up. she had called and asked for them to meet. and as soon as he came she was different then usually. leon was afraid of what she was thinking about. what if she didn’t want to commit to them again? leon was in love with her. well, he never really fell out of love. but things had been so good for the last couple of weeks. steady. he had begun making changes, starting to organize his life again. slowly but surely. “ kez, i can see that something is bothering you. “ he moved closer and put his hand on hers, “ tell me what you’re thinking about. “

“non maman, je vais bien. tout le monde va bien?” wandering around the home as he spoke, grabbing for his lover to pull him closer. listening intently before dropping his phone to his shoulder, “did you want to go out for dinner?” 

taking a sip of her third glass of wine that night, cherry was starting to feel loose, and chatting away to a stranger while she probably shouldn’t. but what could one do after being stood up by her tinder date? she wasn’t going to let it ruin her night. she had dressed up, and she looked good. “and see, that’s why i’m so done with men, like- i sent him a text saying ‘i’m not going to sleep with you tonight’ and homeboy doesn’t even show up at all? what the fuck is that?!”

A lot of people were judgemental of him dating a much younger woman. Those notions were repeated when the two eventually got engaged. But he couldn’t ignore the strong feelings he had for her. Of course now this meant they had a wedding to plan. “Good morning beautiful,” he grinned always loving the sight of her in the morning. “Anything special on your agenda today?” Although he knew he had to work he wanted to support her as much as possible in the planning efforts. “Because I want to remind you that I want you to have the absolute wedding of your dreams.” He watched her for a moment taking a sip of his coffee before coming closer to kiss her deeply.

halloween  had  rolled  around  again  and  so  thomas  and  his  and  dahlia’s  mutual  friends  were  back  at  their  tradition  –––  staying  the  weekend  at  a  lodge  in  the  mountains  ,  owned  by  the  parents  of  one  of  the  friends  .  they  had  all  headed  up  early  evening  apart  from  dahlia  who  had  to  work  and  wasn’t  able  to  make  it  until  later  and  so  as  the  group  settles  into  their  comfiest  clothes  to  play  corny  and  vulgar  drinking  games  ,  thomas  heads  off  to  pick  up  his  roommate  from  the  cable  car  station  after  she’d  messaged  the  group  chat  about  arriving  shortly  .  didn’t  take  the  red  head  long  to  arrive  at  his  destination  ,  after  all  it  was  chilly  and  he’d  rather  not  get  attacked  by  snow  any  longer  .  ‘  finally  .  i’ve  been  waiting  here  forever  .  ’  male  tells  her  ,  a  smirk  on  his  features  as  he  watches  the  femme  step  out  of  the  car  .  actually  he’d  only  just  arrived  but  thomas  loved  to  irritate  her  .  after  reaching  out  and  pulling  the  brunette  towards  him  ,  male  leans  in  to  place  a  kiss  upon  plump  lips  .  ‘  did  anyone  ever  tell  you  that  you  look  kinda  sexy  in  those  boots  ?  ’

there’s an abundance of energy pooling at the pit of his stomach . usually , riley has the stage to wear himself out on , but when he’s not touring or doing anything to wear himself out , he gets antsy ------ which is exactly how this happened . he found a large rubber glove shifting through the cabinets of the apartment as he cleaned , and is now making his way up to the bedroom as he flips them around on his hands . “ hey ! there’s a new superhero in town ... ” he jumps through the door , waving his hands and laughing at how the gloves barely stayed on . “ he’s called glove man ! ” he then jumps onto the bed , tucking his shoulder in to roll before he slaps his hands together into a hand gun and points it at the other , “ pow pow ! ”
