“Have you met Olivia? I’ve never seen someone move so gracefully as her, but she’s way to shy to sign up herself... Actually, I wonder if Basilio’s listening. He’ll probably write her name down for her. Moving on... ”

Eliwood lunges, sending his lance forward in a powerful strike, but Azura dodged her head to the side. Eliwood’s lance tip hits the Hydrangea bloom she has tucked in her hair, sending purple petals flying. Azura, in her perfect dodge, moves in and strikes at Eliwood under his guard, scoring herself and extra strike.

“Gods... I know we have volunteers selling the flowers for their practical effects, but Azura really is something with those petals dancing around her. Too bad that it looks like even Eliwood was distracted for a moment there - Azura managed to sneak another strike in!”

“Eliwood doesn’t look too bad himself, with those peony petals flying. Too bad they didn’t net him enough inspiration to get a third strike on Azura in a row... He nearly did it, but Azura has only just managed to beat him!”

“eliwood?” ingrid catches sight of a familiar red head of hair out of the corner of her eye; any bit of color is eye catching in this dark, dull forest. her voice is hoarse, and her eyes are puffy and red. 

she’d seen- she’d seen her mother again, after all this time, and she’d had to turn around and walk away while her mom was calling out for her to come back. if sharena’s death hadn’t already left the summoner’s heart broken, then this surely shattered it. 

she lurches forward, desperate to not loose sight of him, of the one person she’s found since leaving her mother behind in the fog. “eliwood!” she says, as loud as she can muster. it doesn’t take long for her to catch up with him, and she grabs onto his sleeve.

     lowen doesn’t mind in the slightest, though his heart aches for the way his husband’s hand fits in the crook of his elbow. he’s without his armor today, dressed not as a knight but as a husband, but his sword still hangs at his hip. the world had become such a dangerous place in so little time ; was there no end to it all?

     still, there is peace to be found here, with how he guides eliwood to the stone benches within the garden. it’s flourishing at this time of year -- he would have to bring roy out here later, when the sun is a bit lower and it cools a bit.

“I’m sure you shall find someone!”
