; flame and ice `
Well then, wasn't this a surprise.
"Do bring her in." Hisoka dried another tea cup and poured within it some fine green tea. Sweet rice dumplings were placed beside the tea - a delicious combination of refreshments to brighten their guest's mood. The head of the Nase household sat, his eyes downcast as he waited.
The Satomi clan was certainly an interesting one. Some called it the opposite of the Nase clan - both powerful, yet with completely different elements. Some of the clans who were bored with their ordinary lives talked about the possibility of a fight between the two powerful clans. They wagered most pointlessly on who would win - flame or ice.
Hisoka himself wasn't the least bit interested to find out. The Satomi clan had been a good trading partner. The only time he visited was when he had just become the head of household at ten. Those in the clan of flames treated him with great respect. If they were surprised at his youth, they certainly did not show it. Hisoka was appreciative of that.
"It is an honor to finally meet you, my lady." Hisoka smiled at the girl who had arrived. She had certainly grown since the last time he saw her. Perhaps she would be interested in confirming some of the rumors surrounding the Satomi clan. Hisoka was a morbidly curious soul, after all.
