“OK. New plan.”
Kay’s too short for all of this nonsense! She can’t even reach half of the balloons! She takes a step back, before running and jumping off of a nearby car. She swings her staff down in an almost graceful arc, taking down a balloon. Her counter goes up by one, but she lands flat on her face on the pavement.
“Ow.”
She looks up, realizing she landed rather ungracefully at the feet of a stranger. Standing up and brushing off her cloak, she attempts to justify what they just saw.
“I’ll admit, that wasn’t my best plan...”
