No I didn't use a plunger to unstop a stuck sparge. For this batch, I rushed and cooked the flaked corn right on the bottom of the mashtun which got gummy and through the false bottom, plugging the pick up tube. Either that or a line got plugged. Luckely I kept my first mash tun made from a Gott cooler with the false bottom still in place. After the mash schedule, scooped it all into the small tun and sparged off the wort into the boil kettle.
