♘: Cuddling in a blanket fort
Send one for a nonsexual act of intimacy
was there a better way to spend a soggy saturday day other than watching your peacefully sleeping significant other. dar would argue there was no better thing, EVEN THOUGH he too eventually grew bored of staring at sleeping natalie. yet it wasn’t the fact that SHE was boring, no no. it was just that he —an immortal creature to whom time was a simple concept, just grew bored of waiting for her ATTENTION. and now, she slept even more than before, and she hadn’t been a light sleeper then either.
darkness had watched the woman fall asleep for the third time today, A NAP she called them, but he was growing more and more certain she was falling in to hibernation. he didn’t hold back from petting and kissing her skin when she slept, knowing (after all it was how they met) she slept VERY DEEP. once more he leant against the backrest of the couch and reached a marked hand to her swollen stomach. a smile softly crept it’s way onto his marked lips as he thought of how LUCKY he was to have met such a beautiful creature. and soon they together would have a FAMILY. the mere thought brought tears in his black eyes, and he pressed his smiling face to his chest, hiding his tears. happy tears.
eventually he REALLY grew bored of waiting her to wake up, bored and hungry, really. one by one he started gathering dining chairs around the sofa and pushing the coffee table against them so they wouldn’t fall from the weight. when his structure was ready he raided the linen cabinet, spreading beautiful dark white sheets over one another to form a FORT. he then made some sandwiches before diving under the sheets to pull her into his fort.
she awoke as he dragged her to the floor, SO CAREFUL of her precious bulge and cuddled close to her, smiling wide at her confusion of the fort. after a while they lied down, closed their eyes and PRETENDED for a moment. they saw a starry sky with billions of small speckles of stars, and they counted them together. heads leaned together they just enjoyed the peaceful HAPPINESS for a while.
