So, have you ever heard of a game called Crimson Gray? I think it's interesting, the protagonist is depressed so the yandere girl works hard to keep him alive, she's my favorite yandere girl tbh, and i think it's quite cute how she saves him from things he didn't even know he needed to be saved from, and how he knows that she is a yandere from the beginning and genuinely wants to help her mind. I think she would rate 3 or more if you rated her? At least.
Hey there fl0werdoll, Kai here.
Julie and I both heard of the game Crimson Grey. We won’t really do a review of it since it’s not really our alleyway (female yandere) but we do admit that it’s very interesting. It’s neat that the creator of this game is going for a deconstruction of the yandere trope and the topic of mental illness. We wish more yandere stories were this thoughtful... and also having an MC who doesn’t run away from the yandere, like John here. What more, based on the wiki, it sounds like Lizzie is her own person which is doubly great. She sounds like a really well-written yandere with an interesting story to boot. For modern-day yandere queens, her and Monika are probably at the top, unlike certain yanderes... (*cough* Yandere-chan *cough*)
But our rating of her? You’re probably right fl0wer about her being a 3/5. But from what I read on the wiki? I say 4/5. She’s more on the realistic end for yandere though there are “stereotypes” here and there... mostly the killing part and that’s something that does kinda hold her back. Mindless kill = no-no. Either way, she is still well done despite her flaws. So... yeah! That’s our opinion on this.
(Btw, I remember seeing that one of these games have an R18 patch or something that did make us roll our eyes. Kinda like... “did the creator fetishize his own game?” But whatever. We’re looking at Crimson Grey as stand-alone.)
