Oh, that was HER idea? Good for her. Interesting to know though, I don’t remember if the game referenced it or if I just already knew purebred’s birthdays were called celebration days from the wiki but I assumed this was like, integral to demon culture. I wonder if there really isn’t some kind of hub or collective demon tradition and it’s up to individual clusters like the demons in the mansion to do their own thing. What a fucking power move though, making chosen birthday’s a thing and then immediately making yours a holiday. Wait... day off from what? Monitoring Claire??? And really... what makes a purebred high class anyway, like we can assume that high class haters are ones who can maintain human forms the best due to having the most hatred from their previous life, so...?

Hmm. I don’t know what this says about Charlotte- I could guess that this is supposed to indicate she really does have a childish nature that she plays off as ironic, or that she feels the need to continue portraying herself as a child because it’s something her father urged her to do in life and she sees it as a strategy to protect herself like he said. But some people just like stuffed animals, y’know.

Apparently, the portraits in the (former) torch room have new descriptions! I believe I checked this room fairly recently but, after briefly skimming the first line or so on one of the portraits, assumed they were the same and didn’t notice the new content. So, I’m gonna talk about the new text real quick! Apologies for the mouse on the screen and if I didn’t screenshot some portions, my friend found this while I was watching her play so I wasn’t quiiite as prepared as usual.

So the piano incident wasn’t an isolated case, then. He picked up other hobbies or skills cause of her, too. Add that on top of the doctor thing- and maybe even cooking, since that seems to be something he associated heavily with his sister and may have spent so much time honing his skills thanks to her influence- and it seems like he shaped almost his entire identity around Lilia, or at least his family in general. Wow wonder if THAT means anything.

We finally get a concrete(ish) age for Wilbert! 500, huh. For some reason I expected it to be closer to 1,000, like the old dude, but that’s fair. And his birthday! To be fair I already knew it from checking the wiki, but even before that I KNEW he had to have an October birthday. Just seems like that kinda guy. I wonder if it’s not the exact date because it was so long ago, or because he didn’t exactly grow up with anybody who’d been there to tell him when it was. Glad to know he smiled “often” around the old dude, though... damn.

There’s not a lot of like, deep commentary to make here but thank GOD. Sirius the only bitch here with normal hobbies just for fun that don’t have to do with some deep personal significance and/or dead loved ones. His earrings are indeed very good and I’m proud of him.

Case in point. Poor baby though, I wonder if we’ll ever get to see more about his relationship with Patricia, she sounds like a really wonderful person. Actually, huh, it only just dawned on me that this is the confirmation that Patricia Millers was in fact his mother? It was all but spelled out even back in the first game but that’s good. Oh but WAIT this also means stars specifically remind HIM of a dead family member that shaped his identity just like they do Ashe, these boys really got issues huh.
