Babe, wake up--New birb just dropped!
Got home late after 4th of July fireworks the other night, and I figured I wasn't going to feel like working on comic backgrounds, so I tried sketching something with Chasse, but I ended up feeling inspired to finally make a serious start at creating my own male rozenich OC!
I've had a lot of fun drawing Chasse over the years now since my friend @alfafilly came up with a Viktoria-inspired rozenich for me, and I've drawn some of her interactions with Filly's own OCs in their original setting... I have a somewhat developed backstory for Chasse now, but in order to expand it more I felt I should have a few more rozenich OCs of my own. And of course just designing characters is fun to do on its own merit! Especially when it comes to very colorful and varied species like this, versus the more uniform setting of my Avania comic.
Now, I wish I had more time to pursue all of my art projects at once, but I think it's good to always have a few irons in the fire so to speak, as it helps keep me creating things regardless of how motivated I'm feeling on a given night... And it gives me more story and worldbuilding to mentally chew on for the times that I can't draw or write!
