Reposted from @fixmysole - The fact that this opportunity came through is nothing but the work of God. I’ve spent countless hours searching for internships, filling out applications, editing my resume, doing phone interviews and up until this point all I heard was no. It even got to the point where I almost didn’t apply for this animation internship that I received because I felt unqualified but the same day I was on Facebook and saw a post that said “God doesn’t always call the qualified, he qualifies the called” and that post changed my whole perspective. This one Yes is a culmination of years of hard work and determination and I’m excited to see what it has in store for me but what I really want to stress to anyone who may be feeling down about not receiving an internship or opportunity they were hoping for is to keep applying. I applied to well over 15 internships and received no’s up until this one and this one yes was worth the trouble. Keep the faith that what’s for you will always be for you and trust God’s timing because it may not come when you want it but the opportunity will be there right on time....and I know from first hand experience. I also have to give a huge shoutout to my friends and especially my FAMU family which has been huge part in me becoming the person I am today. The countless messages/comments of support that I’ve received have made all the difference and I appreciate each and everyone of you guys that has supported me throughout my journey and I can confidently say that choosing FAMU was the best decision I’ve made so far. Also, if anyone is looking for internships in the graphic design/animation field and doesn’t now where to look feel free to dm me and I can help you out. #fixmysole(💕💚#4evahaka2 #FAMU1908 #CreditToOwner) - #regrann https://www.instagram.com/p/Byo1h0qHERl/?igshid=10ku1aot770sq
