A good, active (bulletproof fuelled) morning.
Just a short four mile walk between my two morning workouts.
Lovely fresh autumn morning. I prefer summer, lol, but I have to appreciate the beauty of this season.
Plus getting out in the fresh air is always a big mood and energy booster no matter what time of year.
Then after getting home, it was time for a good old fashioned cardio blast before lunch.
I havenāt posted fitness updates in foreverā¦Iām back on my grind, though. Thereās this really great, FREE app called FitOn Iāve been using. They have so many different workouts, and theyāre quick! Plus, again, theyāre free!! So I try to do two different types of workouts since theyāre so quick. Please tell me how I look. Iām really trying to slim down by April š¬ (donāt reblog)

Day #1 of 75 Soft
I'll be following four main goals for this program: workout, drink water, read, and eat well
1. The goal is to workout for 45 minutes every day with 1 rest day per week. That being said, I'll count pretty much any focused activity as a workout. I may follow a fitness video, do calisthenics, yoga, roller skate, stretch, bike, go for a walk, etc. Today I:
Followed FitOn Beautiful Body Sculpt (26 min). I really like how the trainer, Jeanette Jenkins, has such a positive and encouraging attitude! I did simplify some things and/or just use body weight instead of dumbbell, but I want to focus on form and sustainability rather than intensity.
Stationary bike (10 min).
Some random arm circles and stuff?
Followed FitOn Get Your Back Back (16 min). This had some really great stretches!
In total worked out for 52+ minutes
2. Drink 3 liters (102 oz) of water daily. I'll count any water-based tea (as opposed to milk-based) in this too. At the end of last year I was drinking a gallon of water (over 3.5 liters) a day and it was a bit challenging at first. Today though I've already hit my 3L goal and will probably drink a little more water and maybe a cup of tea still!
3. Read 10 pages a day. This can be anything- I don't have any restrictions about this being entrepreneurial, self-help, non-fiction, etc. I read the first chapter of Atomic Habits by James Clear today. I don't know why but I had previously assumed that this book wouldn't be good/interesting for me. But it is such an easy, engaging read so far
4. Eat well. I'm purposely trying to avoid words like diet or meal plan when I talk about this. I've struggled with disordered eating and don't find it beneficial to explicitly prohibit certain foods or over plan my meals. Still, I will:
eat 5 fruit and veggies per day. Aim to have at least 1 per meal
incorporate protein in every meal
keep moderate portion sizes
only drink alcohol socially
limit takeout
I have successfully completed day #1 :)
i have to remind myself that my journey is not like a movie montage. itās not going to be a 30 minute video of workouts and all of a sudden results. itās going to take months, maybe even a year or more of hard work. and iām okay with that. it will give me time to also work on self care and work on myself emotionally, not just physically. i want to be able to love myself again. and iāve only got one me. ļæ¼

Wednesday work!
My usual morning workout was strength and cardio. But both principles in one move rather than the usual way these workouts work.
They most usually alternate between the two.
Always an excellent udea to mix it up!
After this, I got out on my bike for a Dr's appointment.
Pushed my need to get into the specialist diabetes clinic at the local hospital.
I've been struggling for a while now and I refuse to sit around and wait the suggested one year waiting time!
Anyway, then it was time for the best part of the morning so far.
Soya cappucino (extra shot) at my favourite place š¤©.
I decided against coconut. It's the tastiest option, but they charge extra for that. Soya is the same price as normal milk. And it tastes just lovely, thank you very much!
And this time I'm definitely smiling!
So we got out of the house this morning to try a bit of "geocaching".
We weren't out for long. Not any kind of walk, but I've still tracked it as an activity.
I got straight into my second of today's workouts when we got home.
I like this one. Short, fun and nothing complicated.
Then it was lovely lunch time š.
And yes, we have a pig farm very close to where we live. Cornfields too š¤©. I love living here!
