the ocean called her here, once. several weeks ago ( or was it months ? ), to this little ISLAND in the middle of the sea. it was barren. lacking in vegetation and riddled with ROCKS and warm sands --- and one stranded demi-god with a talent for theatrics. now she comes whenever her father’s back is turned. whenever she can slip away from the marine kingdom and come bask in the sun that warms the sands here. she likes the stories he tells, the way he talks about the humans she’s always found herself so fascinated with. ariel likes that he’ll indulge her curiosities and, in exchange, she listens to him. his stories, legends, concerns. maybe they keep each other company.       ❛     you tore off his LEG ? no wonder he doesn’t like you.     ❜
