Fontaine inspired art
so I was talking to @alexanderlightweight about my SDV game, and this is my Aquarium (In the Big Shed) from an old pre-update game. (Yes, I am going to make another one in 1.6, eventually)
This I learned! While putting in coral/seaweed/rocks/etc. THERE ARE MULTIPLE POSSIBLE VISUALS for details/texture/placement, so sometimes you have to do it over again to get what you want.
Also the sea cucumbers never move, but they are in different places when the room loads :D
Speaking of tendrils! Catfish whisker are basically covered in taste buds. They use them to find food in low visibility waters so they can pull them into their mouths!
Also some fish mating facts:
The pufferfish attracts a mate by doing drawings in the sand, seahorses hold tails and dance while mating, many coral fish have both sets of sexual organs and the clowfish can go mtf on demand if something happens the wife!

Oh to be a pufferfish who watches mates pass him by because his swirls in the sand are just of low artistic quality. Poor baby. Apparently the catfish whiskers are called barbels and they can just taste around… wow!

Lookit fishies! We went to the beach and caught these living things (and put them back afterwards!)
We caught a janitor fish (no picture) and this greenigray fish and little gray crabs!
My first reaction to this: GIA, WHAT ARE YOU DRINKING?!?
My second reaction: Awwww~ fishies! <3
They're all adorable, thanks for showing me! I miss going to the beach and aquariums, I wanna do that again sometime this autumn if I can. (Yes it will be cold, but I'm in the midst of Ren Faire rehearsals at the moment, which will transition into Ren Faire performances, so not ideal vacationing times.)
