The visible light
As the first week of class flows by day by day, trying to track my busy reading assignments, I have been ever more curious if I should be in this MATh. The classes has been amazing, ranging from OT survey to ethics. But, the more I talk to people in seminary, both friends and strangers, God has been revealing more of my interests. There has been a misunderstanding of the subject I desire to pursue. God has made it clear that biblical theology lies close to my passionate heart, verses categorizing and updating theology made in the past, which is more of systematic theology. I am not discounting systematic theology, but it might be clear that this facet in seminary is something that I have little interest.
I do want to mention something exciting that happened yesterday. I reconnected with Shin, a fellow IV that I've met at Urbana12. It was great to see such a joyful brother whose artistic talents are beyond amazing. It was no coincidence that God brought us together 2 years ago, and he will continue to use him to establish my steps during seminary. It is truly amazing to look back and see how God is weaving everything together, to witness the unfolding of God's sovereign plan. I can only live day by day in the graciousness of Jesus, the only Son of God.
