As soon as he received the news that he had the job, Soldier was practically jumping out of his shoes. He was an Earth boy now, complete with a house (which was more of a spaceship, but no one really knew that) and a job! Sure, it was only a bog-standard cleaning job in a hospital, but it was still a job, and it made him feel a little more like a citizen of this extraordinary planet. 

Slipping on his overalls over his normal clothes in the staff room, Soldier checked the router which had everything he needed to know stated on it. Toilets, hallway, conference rooms three and four, and then the staff rooms on this floor. A simple enough job, and well, he was a unsure if that would take the whole five hours he was supposed to be here for. Moving out of the staff room and toward the first cleaner's cupboard he could find, he pulled out a bucket of cleaning products; along with a mop and started toward the toilets. 

The restrooms took him less than an hour, and he grinned to himself as he began to mop the floors with a strange smelling anti-bacterial solution. The creaking sound of a door opening made him swing round, a stupid grin still plastered onto his features as his eyes settled on a female.
