📢 Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will officially shut down on October 6, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. PDT.
💬 Producer Shoichi Ichikawa said the decision was driven by the challenge of balancing the game’s high production costs. including visuals, gameplay, and live-service content, with player expectations.
📅 New Red Crystal sales have already ended, while existing crystals can be used until the servers close. Final story chapters and anniversary events will continue through October.
🎮 Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis launched globally in September 2023 for iOS and Android, followed by a PC release on Steam later that year.
