Summary:

On a few, select occasions, Henry has indulged Alex’s flirty banter, meeting Alex halfway with his own brand of dry wit. That is hardly advisable, of course, but Henry is only… well, not human exactly, but once upon a time he was, and sometimes he likes to reminisce about that. To recall what that existence had felt like. To watch a pretty young thing with a certain spark in his eyes smile victoriously when Henry admits he’s handsome.

When Henry lets Alex take him home, he thinks he’s the only one who’s about to reveal his true nature.

Henry had arrived home from the shelter to find Alex buried under a mountain of books, his glasses askew and his hair wild, wearing the same bewildered expression Henry had seen as he walked out the door earlier that morning.

As he climbs into Alex’s lap, jumping a little as a particularly sharp corner of a hardcover book pokes him in the arse, he can feel the tension in Alex’s shoulders relax, ever so slightly.

“You aren’t going to fail. In fact, I’m going to help you,” Henry says, each word separated by a kiss to Alex’s chest, neck, cheek, and finally lips.

okay so my fourth fic for @thebrownstone firstprince week (day 6 - soulmates au) - that i've been affectionately calling star wars firstprince soulmates lolz

Henry has just witnessed the cinematic moment that has been etched on his skin making him wonder when it would happen from the first time he watched a Star Wars movie when he hears the words as he leaves the theater, it's all he can do to keep from punching the guy who says them … he's just not sure why he maybe wants to punch him with his mouth and not his fist

It's just some boys being silly and falling hard for each other quickly
