The first tampon
Many women told me that it hurt incredibly to insert the first pad.
For me it did not hurt at all. A friend gave me at that time the hint, to hold the tip of the tampon to the vaginal opening, slowly pull it up the clitoris, because there is moist inside, and back down into the hole.
Now go a few steps. If you still feel the tampon, it is not far enough inside and could hurt over the time.
Try either to push him deeper in, to the point that not quite half the whole finger is inside or pull it out and try it with a new one (sometimes it's easier).
I find it the easiest way to push the tampon in when I'm sitting on the toilet, rather than standing up or something. While sitting you better can relax.
I have made the positive experience to use on the first day of my menstruation not to use a tampon (I had to go to school), but a large panty liner with wings. Even if it feels weird for someone, when the blood runs out directly, I thought it was at least more comfortable than the first few hours with a tampon. The proper wearing of tampons I learned in peace at home.
Don’t be scared and don’t listen to them who are telling you it hurts, they only did it the wrong way.
