Cole throws up his hands. âWell, tell them to get lost!â

âYou were here first!â
Kai groans. He turns to the newcomer. âThis is our heist, bug off.â
Silent: too fast / too slow
âYou feel that? Nothing about you is hidden from me. I see you. I am you.â
Lloydâs body continues to cough. His head throbs like his brain is too big for his skull, but around his coughing, he manages to strangle out the second half of his realization. âSo if youâre literally me, if I die, you die too?â
And Morro goes silent. Deathly, implicatively silent.
Ponder: Skyward (man this is. old. but its where i found the word oop)
Cole blinked. "So you opened a serpentine tomb just for attention?"
"Of course not!" But his lack of eye contact told the black ninja otherwise. "I just want to make him proud," he whispered.
The earth ninja withdrew, pondering the new information.Â
Spray: ceiling hung with vines
âWell, have you considered that maybe itâs worth it?â Kai shouts, and oh, Nya hadnât been paying attention much before but the room is sweltering now, sweat beading and dripping down her forehead as lights start to dance along Kaiâs arms. âThat, I donât know, maybe our lives are more important than your stupid need to prove yourself, or whatever the hell youâre trying to do?â
âGuys ââ starts Cole.
