Just a little note to say thank you to all betas and first readers who devote their time and effort to someone else's story, who are hardly ever mentioned, who aren't paid but still patiently dissect line by line to make it better, stronger and more beautiful, who cheer us on and pat our backs and gently stroke our fragile ego, and who may not be aware that those of us who struggle so hard with words and phrases, structure and pacing, and doubts and crushing worries - we couldn't do it without you.
