Finished my first coat…just in time for spring (cue evil Chris cackle). Although not the typical color palette I was aiming for at first, it did work out so well.
I had “I’m Not Scared” in my head making this one. While only slightly visible in the 3rd photo, the lining of coat has a similar color as the PSB/NO North American Tour poster…that was a happy accident….which would describe my experience sewing linings in general.

More DIY is happening at my house today. Hubby has prepared and painted the front door. It got knocked about in the earthquake repairs and was looking pretty shabby. A fresh coat of paint has brought it back to life. We just have to wait 16 hours for it to dry. Perfect day for it though, no wind and very warm.
