Kimzee and her first baby daddy. RIP
I was going to draw Kimzee’s hands up in the air but... I was also going to shade, and change her hair to show that this is in the past. But I wanted to move on to other things.
Kimzee’s first baby daddy, who died on Kezan, back when they were teenagers.
Here’s what I did during February, using this expression chart. It’s fun trying to draw different expressions, though I’ve got a lot to learn.
-There’s something about the shape of A3 Kimzee’s head that I don’t like, and I’m also still trying to practice different angles.
-Bops (B1) came out really well, but her hair isn’t actually that long.
-I like B2 Kimzee a lot. I got fed up with not being able to match her eyes right, so bangs. I drew her with her hair down, which I know isn’t perfect, but I really like that I gave it a shot. Hair is hard.
Next month I want to work a little more on ears. The ones I’ve been drawing are pretty half assed.

Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
One time when my dad came to visit, this picture was the background on my computer and my dad points at it and in his dopey, goofy way says “Those friends of yours?” And I just had to laugh and nod my head, because yeah, I guess they are kind of like friends of mine.
3. What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?
Both Kimzee and Bopalan were pretty close to their father. He was an easy going, laid back sort of Goblin who worked in Waste Management. In other words, he was a trashman. He treated his children fairly and encouraged them to pursue their talents. When he died on Kezan with so many other Goblins, his daughters mourned heavily.
