goblins in world of warcraft have an appeal of urban fantasy to them in a way that i haven't seen other mmos replicate. to a reverse of magical realism almost. in a land of invading alien demons and squid monsters who want to consume the universe, there's this group of people who know what a 'privacy policy' is and it blends together without further questions. you know they were discussing the legion invasion at the diner.

i didn't know who renzik was prior to meeting him in the ringing deeps sidequests he shows up in and also he is not voice acted at all in this patch, where he is a major character. why did they not get a voice actor (hell even just the default goblin voice actor) to do a voice for him when he's a main character in this patch. did they expect me to feel sad for this guy's death when i've kept having to remember to read his lines in my chatbox?????? seriously blizzard. please do better i know you can afford a voice actor to do a silly goblin spy voice
