Fire-Spider

This character doesn't have a name aside from "Just A Original Spider-Woman" on the model sheet, but she's a plus-sized Spider-Woman designed by Kris Anka for Across the Spider-Verse. Her design's really interesting, so I wanted to make art of her.

Fire Spider: Remember how we eat brains?

DM: … Yes …?

Fire Spider: And the more intelligent brains taste the best?

DM: … Yes …?

Fire Spider: What if I kidnapped a bunch of children, aged them up in a fae pocket dimension to age them up rapidly, harvest half of the brains leaving the more intelligent children, now adults to multiply to produce more intelligent children and have the cycle repeat.

DM: So… you want to recreate the Promised Neverland?

Fire Spider: Exactly! But nothing will go wrong like in that series.

DM: Are you sure nothing bad will happen?

Fire Spider: Yep!

DM (visible concern): You’re sure nothing will happen? Like this won’t backfire at all?

Fire Spider: Yep!

A few sessions later

DM: The children have escaped and are hell bent on killing you, the party and your entire race.

Fire Spider: What? How could this have happened? Why didn’t anyone warn me?

Corta Aulorian: Wait, what’s going on?

Fire Spider and DM explain everything to Corta Aulorian

Corta Aulorian: I am very disappointed in you Fire Spider

Fire Spider: Then you shouldn’t have left me unattended.

DM: That’s right

Corta Aulorian: What you should have done is create a cast system with us at the top and lesser beings at the bottom.

DM: Wait! No!

Corta Aulorian: I’ll just do it myself because you’re incompetent and can’t complete a simple task like enslaving people and harvesting their brains.

DM: NO NO NO NO NO
