☱  : everyone’s different: it’s a trite statement to make, but the residents of the island truly make manifest the truth of that triteness in vibrant and wonderful ways. yukari can appreciate the ways in which the people here bring life to a place that was ultimately an elaborate prison. the stranger she’s watching today is just as much of an oddity as the others, but in a surprisingly endearing way. this certainly isn’t like any youkai she’s personally seen before, but that’s just part of the appeal.

can you call it people-watching if the target in question turns into a squid? she leans on her elbows and gazes as the other changes between forms with ease, lower half of her body resting within one of the gaps she habitually uses to recline.

‘you’re quick at that, aren’t you? is it a true magic transformation, or are you simply half-squid?’ dare she suggest the possibility of a were-squid? if wolves could do it, then why not squids?

This one is quite strange in her views. She is not a Hollow, Arrancar or a Quincy. Anything that is strange in the corner, hostile or not did made her wooden sword in a tight grip, intent to kill. Her aura was frightening enough even the locals around her backing out silently.

If one attacks with no reason, Unohana attacks back as well but it is best to talk this out for now.

Sara couldn’t help but shake the feeling that this place, while not Inazuma, held some sort of familiarity. Yet the more she looked around, the less she recognized; neither the buildings, nor the inhabitants were familiar. As much as the feeling nagged at her, Sara knew it would do no good to dwell on it, so she pushed it from her mind. Instead she would focus on finding out more about this place, and her role in it.

First she tried to gain information from the strange device she was given, but when that proved fruitless, Sara went with the next logical option: Asking random strangers.

[Oh. It’s you. The video lady.] Puppycat’s eyes narrow as he makes sure she doesn’t have her phone out this time-- he’d managed to get the costume off eventually, but he still can’t believe she got evidence of it.

[You didn’t post those pictures anywhere, right? I’ll be really mad.] He sighs, crossing his arms with a huff.

fall / autumn / halloween themed prompts

     this was a terrible, awful, no good idea.  

     naomi had always shown great resolve and steel when it came to missions;  even open combat did not frighten her.  even actors, in latex masks, with burlap costumes covered in fake blood, do not scare her.  after all, they were just actors.  they were just actors, naomi tells herself, after the third, fourth, fifth time she finds herself scared out of her skin, grasping for marie.  

      but that’s not the terrible part.  the fear is half the fun of a haunted house, the flashing lights and smoke machine scares were fun.  

      no, no, the terrible idea of this outing was going at all.  naomi finds herself having too much fun.  she’s still not sure where things land - are they friend or co-workers?  she sometimes accidentally calls marie’s grandfather ‘gramps,’ but she’s not sure if she can call marie her friend. 

Albedo had never seen this one out in her whole life. Highly different than the norm she usually sees in her world. The getup reminds her of some people from Fibonacci or Golden on the corners. Perhaps, her kind would be useful for Ainz if he was ever been here but she mentally rejects it. 

Be nice to fellow heteromorphs or those aren’t human to begin with. Remember the promise from the Shielder.
