She's seventeen and she's so guilt ridden by everything that's happened she takes on a 20 years long sentence to COMA without complaint, after she gets arrested over literally defending herself.

Then she exiles herself after seeing the love of her life causes her to snap/risk it all to save him, because Bloom's powers don't allow for her to ever be selfish. Her little saving Sky moment nearly causes the whole Otherworld to burn and she's well aware she'll always be a weapon or a liability and so she writes letters to her loved ones and walks into a dimension from each she STATES she can't come back from, alone, without knowing what awaits for her-

I think she did what she had to do.

Bloom's character is a haunted by the narrative, she begins and she ends in non-belonging. She's haunted and taunted by everyone, including the audience, knowing more than she does and this fear and guilt inevitably leading to her making decisions she comes to regret.

Even when Bloom wins - They destroy Valtor, they get the powers back, none of her friends are dead - Bloom loses: she doesn't belong there and in the same way she burned her house down in season 1 because she didn't belong there and had things going on beyond her control, she's the cause of all this harm. Bloom's described as an outsider because she is, she's the girl calling her mom outside her house and asking if she can come home and the answer is "you were never meant for here, you're meant for more" and then she's the girl calling Alfea home only to learn she's not meant for that place either.

So I do not hold Bloom's metaphorical suicide over her head. To say that I think she was right is a stretch, but I don't think she was wrong. After a deeply punitive season Bloom deserved more, but that's why it hurts.
