Freya looked at the new figure. She nodded her head in acknowledgement. 'Hello!'
"And she’s not gone. Time traveling. Best part about time travel, she can pop back in whenever.. you could see her tomorrow.”
THIS IS SO MUCH WORSE DO YOU UNDERSTAND? THIS IS BREAKING MY HEART. Because if he accepts this, he has to accept that she wasn't kidnapped but that she left him. Willingly. Left him behind. (Which is what happened but he doesn't know this).

"............Doc, it doesn't work if I know it's you."
"If either of you ev'n get near th' hair, you're gonna get slapped."

Well. That was strange. Benny furrowed his brows in confusion as he peered out the window at the strange object, the blue box that he was certain had not been there only a few minutes ago. For two weeks he'd worked at the little diner, making a bit of money before he moved on again, and every day he glanced out the window several times, and he was certain the blue box had not been there. Surely he would have noticed if someone had dragged the thing and dropped it off. Would have heard something, or seen someone.
Benny knew better than to brush something like this off. He'd been around, seen his fair share of magic and knew that objects appearing out of no where was never just some innocent occurrence. What someone would use the blue box for, he didn't know, but he promised himself he'd keep a weary eye out anyway.
Shaking his head, he returned his attention to the diner, where a new customer had just sat down, one of only two there at that slow hour, the other a usual that used the space to work on his laptop.
Benny approached the suited man, offering a smile.
"Mornin'," he greeted, pressing down the urge to glance toward the window once more. "What can I get you t'day?"
