So if I have Fire Servant and Pyromancer's Gauntlet in play, does Lightning Bolt do (2+3)Ă—2=10 damage or 2+(3Ă—2)=8 damage or do I choose? If I can choose, can Cone of Flame do 4 or 6, 6 or 8, and 8 or 10 damage for each hit? What about multiple Servants or Gauntlets?
The player (or controller of the creature or planeswalker) that’s being damaged chooses the order in which the replacement effects are applied to the damage. This means that generally, you’re going to get the lesser amount of damage out of this combo.
