Informed operafantomet already about this, but Sofie Asplund (Christine in the Finnish production) is not Swedish but from Åland which is an autonomous region of Finland. She sure is Swedish-speaking and has studied and done most if not all of her professional career in Sweden but she is still not actually Swedish.

Sofie Asplund is not Swedish but from Åland (sure she is Swedish-speaking and has studied in Sweden and done apparently almost all of her professional career there). And Åland is an autonomous region of Finland. Just to inform both you and the one sending the ask about her instagram.
