Detentions were never a good thing, but when they were with Filch they weren't soo bad like that; and Fred knew that better than anyone. It was almost like a hobby and to him it was the best distraction in the world. That was probably one of the reasons why he didn't even care when Mason Jarvis gave him and Corey detentions for four weeks. What the f*ck. He thought to himself still a little annoyed with that; have to spend time with Filch was one thing, but stay four weeks with him it was too much. "I just hope to have enough pranks." Fred murmured under his breath as he made his way toward the second floor. This can't be good. Holding his backpack over his shoulder the tallest boy walked toward the boys bathroom and rested his back against the wall in front of the door. At least he was the first one arriving there.

He had to admit, this time he really think he'd gone and done it. If this worked the way he hoped there would be serious cause for a firewhiskey party of celebration and he figured both himself and Fred desereved at least a bottle each. He quickly scraped away the remaining evidence of any potion brewing off the study table he'd been using in the gryffindor common room. It was a good job Fae had helped remove most of the incriminating stuff hours before. It'd taken a good few weeks to put the plan into action but it was worth the wait. He'd never felt so humiliated as he'd felt after the Amortentia prank pulled and he was hoping  justice was going to taste sweet. With a quick glance at his watch Corey had just enough time to put a stopper in the vial and ditch his bag in a corner by an armchair ready to colllect later. Right now, he had more important things to do like meet Fred. They weren't even sure how safe this 'hybrid' potion they'd come up with would work, the logics of it were all there. They'd tried combining a happyness potion with a love potion. Admittedly it was all wrong on both levels. Just the thought of Sam Zabini potentially skipping around the corridors and just being nice to everyone was enough to make him grin to himself and hurry along to the meeting place.

Corey had barely seen his sister since the ball and that was for a very brief moment before her performance. It sucked because it seemed as the further they got through the school years the less time they had for each other, not to say that if they had hung out more they'd argue or wind each other up over small things but he did miss her. As he waited by the kitchens, where he'd arranged to meet her he held a small wrapped parcel for her, he figured she'd seemed down when they'd arranged to meet so had grabbed a little something for her. Whether or not she trusted to take it was another thing.

Taking a large jump off the bottom three steps; Kayla barely  managed to hold her balance as her feet hit the cobbled flooring of the entrance hall with a large bang. Always being in an extreme rush to do everything; but she had gotten an idea in her head; and she wanted to fulfil it as soon as she could; not able to wait til a more appropriate time. Pushing through the crowds she'd caught a glimpse of Corey, the one person she'd wanted to talk to; she needed to talk to him. "Corey..Core.." Her voice got slowly drowned out by first years clambering into the space that had seperated between her and him blocking all the view that she had of Corey as she pushed into the doors of the Great hall. Everyone was jumping into there seats; and as they did her vision of Corey would have been impossible if he sat down. "Excuse me, sorry.."  Barging in, she hadn't even thought become she'd used a fourth year as a balance as she'd hopped ontop of the Gryffindor table; realising those around had become silent with all eyes on her and she made a run up the table, dodging hands, careful not to trip herself; thanking merlin that they food hadn't been layed out just yet. "COREY!" Finally, she'd spotted him sitting almost midtable, but by this stage the whole halls eyes had fallen onto her. "Corey look.. I know that this may be obvious or something, maybe not to you.." Beginning to talk over those still making slight noise amoung the students; out of breath as she spoke and walked tabletop towards him. "Okay I don't know how to say this.. but.. I talk a lot I know.. but right now I have no words.. and I'm dying here..." Dragging off for a breath and coming to a hault looking directly down at him. "I don't shut up ever; everyone knows basically I think.." Taking a large intake of breath; her eyes darted up to notice the hundreds of eyes now on her; and it was now or never. "Corey, I like you a lot.. no; no like I think, I think..." Sinking slightly her eyes fell downwards. ".. I love you.."

Racing up the stairs Kayla jumped the steps two at a time excitedly; she'd basically been jumping up and down the whole of the herbology lesson; unable to wait for finally managing to have plans with Corey; they'd barely had any chance to speak; and the ball ever so briefly. She held the crumpled up note in her hand that had 'Meet me in the Common Room after your last class - Corey'. Bouncing at the fat ladies potrait basically shouting the password over her loud singing; with the portrait immediately swinging open with a scuffed "How rude."  But ignoring it; Kayla made a run on through; ofcourse knowing she'd told atleast a good few Ravenclaws the Gryffindor password by shouting it.
