They confirmed the achilles
OK so I'm just gonna quickly sketch out a couple of the key points I'm going to be looking out for in this game:
Pacers ball security. I trust Hali to avoid turnovers, but how well do TJ and Drew handle their turns as primarily handlers, as well as Myles/P in the paint. If they can't keep the turnover to assist ratio decent (at least 2, in a crazy ideal world closer to 4 assists per TO) then they don't have a chance
On that note: Pacers obviously aren't an elite defense but typically their inbounds and transition defense is much better than the half court. If the transition defense can hold up just a little its gonna be a lot harder for OKC to go on a defense led run.
Can the Pacers get some of their transition offense going and try and avoid meeting OKC in the half court as much as possible
^those two things we will be able to judge by just looking at the pts in transition disparity
Another one of our backup bigs got added to the IR during the knicks series (fuck u KAT) so if we're going to pull off the upset Myles is going to need to have the best series of his life to deal with Chet AND ihart.
In terms of their offense I feel the same way I did in the previous 3 series. I don't really care if Shai (or giannis/dmitch/brunson) goes for 30 or even 40, it becomes a problem when he brings his Chet and Jdub with him. Its not an accident that the two games KAT went off are the ones we lost in the ECF. I think ideally JDub picks back up some of the shakiness he had early in the playoffs
