Also, when I load the screencaps into photoshop, they load slightly transparent. I look on the photoshop opacity settings and that says the layers are at 100% for all. Would this be because of the player? Is there a setting I need to fix?

hello sorry it must have been like a million years since I opened my ask box so if this is really late I sincerely apologize! that being said I haven't really had this issue since I have a) not giffed in FOREVER and b) been using a different method lately that's more to do with file storage than anything mpv related, but I digress. mpv.net has a lot of settings that may be impacting how your screenshotting works. I'm not 100% sure what could be causing your player to run slow or to screenshot at low opacity but you could try resetting all the settings and just changing the screencap shortcut and see if that works, or alternatively you could use normal mpv!

I said it on another ask, but does reading smutty stranger things fan fics extremely often count as a guilty pleasure? lol

8. what gif trend do you hate? oh someone made me aware of the oversharpening trend yesterday and i do not like it. noise and bright whites are both horrible, why would you do that to yourself on purpose??
