Out of all the people she had run into in her very short time in this place, none of them had seen a Sharl. Indeed, the genom-like creature just seemed to.. Not exist here. Neither did Nyuroki, but she was less apprehensive about that. No need for that creature in alternate universes, too. It didn’t keep her from hoping, just a bit, that they existed, however. Song Magic didn’t make itself out of thin air. Kanon only had a wooden stick to help her along at this point. (The Chunpi plush doesn’t count.)

..... ? Hmm? That kid, over there... Couldn’t that be a Sharl? Albeit, a weirder Sharl with.. odd clothes... No, she had to take the chance.

The well dressed male already had a destination in mind, despite only just having arrived in the city with little to no understanding of what was happening to him. He was aware of some.. familiar faces who could fill him in on his current circumstances, but found himself sidetracked by.. A child? Clearly not an ordinary one. His eyes lingered on her for a moment, his expression shifting subtly to one of mild interest.

“Wha--”

       The sight was definitely one of the stranger ones he’d seen here. But not for the reasons one would expect. Takuya had seen all manner of creature and oddity in this city, but he hadn’t once seen a single Sharl amidst the population. Maybe it wasn’t too strange, when he considered the nature of the city, but then who was right in front of him? 

       The appearance wasn’t an exact match to any Sharl he’d seen before, but it was closer than he would’ve liked. A Sharl going through a rebellious phase, maybe? He wasn’t going to get any answers just standing there, that was for sure.

Now this absolutely wouldn’t do, where in the nine hells was it? If there was one thing she prided herself on it was an impeccable memory. Truth be told she prided herself on many things but foremost was the clarity of her mind. There was no way she’d forget something so trivial as where she had buried her phone! Unbelievable! Impossible!

Yet, it wasn’t where she had left it. So sure was she it would be where it was supposed to be, she had transformed herself before excavating it and now precious minutes were ticking away as she dug more seemingly random holes in the sand. 

The only other creature immediately present seemed to be a young girl with long ears- elves- who also sported a pair of horns and other... Oddities. So still in her polymorphed guise, she called over.

“Excuse me, a moment of your time please.”

You’ll still be able to float around to get to your destination. You’ll also be able to keep your octo-rabbit, however, you’ll find that it’s bite doesn’t seem to be as hard as it once was. All of your other abilities, however, don’t seem to be available to you just yet... Don’t fret, though! I’m sure they’ll come back eventually!

Our final boss can find herself being housed in IT-3.

Not only did the people and objects vary significantly in this city, but the demons did too. Demons far different from her world; some with morals, some created in unfortunate circumstances who ran from their identities, and some with the same evil edge as the ones that hailed from her own realm. Being here certainly affected how Amaterasu construed demon-kind; still, it was natural for the god to be on edge around those blatantly demon. 

Which is exactly how she was around this strange looking girl. She was explicitly a demon of some kind; bearing horns that protruded from her head, with sharp crimson eyes and extra, tentacle appendages. Far more alien looking compared to the imps and various demons back home, but still a demon. Yet, beyond the demon nature, this figure was young and clearly just a girl. It was conflicting to say the least.
