FINAL LINE

I write this as I listen to Falling for the third time. Not just because I love the sound, but because I feel everything Harry is singing about. He doesn’t want to become the type of person who cheats. He doesn’t want to lose her, but he can’t help himself. They’ve grown apart and he’s sad. He’s blinded by the fact that they’ve grown apart, so he’s drunk and he says and does things he doesn’t mean. He’s falling into the person he never wanted to be because it isn’t him and she doesn’t like that version of him. They loved each other but they both screwed up. What is he now? What if he’s someone he doesn’t want around? What if he’s someone she won’t talk about?

The SOLE Project

After everything that has happened, and everything that they have done, they deserve it.

The “it” in this case is the opportunity to live peacefully and as well as they can.

I really like this, just because there are so many plot points that happen that “everything that has happened and everything that they have done” adds up to quite a lot.

I haven’t reached the end of this one yet, but it’ll probably go something like this? Maybe?

Despite everything, I walk out of TREE feeling pretty good. Despite our failure to catch the kidnapper, and despite my team not returning to the Under with me, I feel strangely happy. 

Maybe I’m finally getting used to this whole immortality-demon-counseling thing. Only time will tell, I guess. But for now?

I’ve got a job to do.
