Final Judgment

"The clashing warriors turned to face O-Kagachi, the greatest kami, and their sigh of awe was their last breath." —*Great Battles of Kamigawa*

These passages show that true faith is revealed through responsible, compassionate action. God calls people to care for their families, raising children with patience and guidance, and providing for those in their household. This responsibility then extends outward to protecting the weak, helping the needy, and showing mercy to those who are overlooked or suffering. Scripture makes clear that love for God cannot be separated from how we treat others—especially the most vulnerable. Neglecting these duties is treated as a serious moral failure.

1 Timothy 5:8 

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever

Psalm 82:4 

Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:4 

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord

The Final Judgment

31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. 42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. 43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

45 “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’

Satan Bound

1 I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key to the bottomless pit and a large chain in his hand. 2 He overpowered the serpent, that ancient snake, named Devil and Satan. The angel chained up the serpent for 1,000 years. 3 He threw it into the bottomless pit. The angel shut and sealed the pit over the serpent to keep it from deceiving the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were over. After that it must be set free for a little while.

4 I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were allowed to judge. Then I saw the souls of those whose heads had been cut off because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its statue and were not branded on their foreheads or hands. They lived and ruled with Christ for 1,000 years. 5 The rest of the dead did not live until the 1,000 years ended. This is the first time that people come back to life. 6 Blessed and holy are those who are included the first time that people come back to life. The second death has no power over them. They will continue to be priests of God and Christ. They will rule with him for 1,000 years.

7 When 1,000 years are over, Satan will be freed from his prison. 8 He will go out to deceive Gog and Magog, the nations in the four corners of the earth, and gather them for war. They will be as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. 9 [I saw that] they spread over the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s holy people and the beloved city. Fire came from heaven and burned them up. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were also thrown. They will be tortured day and night forever and ever.

11 I saw a large, white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence, but no place was found for them. 12 I saw the dead, both important and unimportant people, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened, including the Book of Life. The dead were judged on the basis of what they had done, as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up its dead. Death and hell gave up their dead. People were judged based on what they had done. 14 Death and hell were thrown into the fiery lake. God will not be near forever.

Everyone believes that they have time. They can put off that important task in face of good old fashioned living.

No need to worry about homework, it’ll still be there after some gaming and YouTube scrolling.

But Monday always comes. And if you didn’t do your work when you had the time, well then, you’re out of luck buddy.

This is exactly how it is when it comes to the salvation for your soul.

The world has dispensed the popular belief that you’ll always have time, and anything important or boring can be put off for later.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Whether you’re a believer or not, tomorrow is never confirmed. Today, as far as you know, may be your last day on earth.

Let that sink in for a bit.

Today may be the last time you see your family. It may be the last time tater your favorite food. It may be the last chance you have to repent of your sins.

Despite the popular saying, there is a time when it’s too late to do the right thing, and it’s after you die.

The Bible states that after a man dies comes the judgement is his soul. There will be no repentance, not any forgiveness. All will have been said and done, and the Lord will judge accordingly.

If you died tonight, will you make it to heaven? If you took your last breath tonight, will you be sure that you’ll wake up in the arms of Jesus?

Right now, you have an amazing opportunity, one that a majority of people all throughout history do not have. An opportunity to repent.

The window is open for you. Jesus is knocking at your door. The offer is yours for the taking. Now it’s up to you to take God up on it. It’s up to you to open the door of your heart to the Savior who desires it. It’s up to you to make your decision within this precious window of time.

The Lord’s grace won’t be on you forever. The Lord won’t let your sin carry on forever. He will bring his justice upon you. So take this opportunity that’s he’s giving to you. Repent while you still can.

This is not a post of condemnation, but of conviction.

The Holy Spirit is using me as an instrument to reach out to you, to tell you of your chance to repent. He’s urging you to take it before it’s too late.

Seek the Lord while he may be found, because sooner than we think, he won’t be, and we’ll all be handed the judgement of our actions.

Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
