#final infographic

For further practice I redesigned this bar chart using sketch.

This is the third master apprentice where I had to recreate the diagrams using sketch to enhance my skills.

Got some feedback on the infographics: there was too many shades of red, which I fixed by having the same shade of red for the ‘badges’ and the square. The text over the elephants foot was very difficult to read so I simple moved the text.

After feedback telling me that the text on the ‘badges’ where difficult to read I changed the font for them. I also made the help bit a bit more compact.

It’s not very pretty right now, but I do like the scale to indicate weight. As I am unable to find any numbers on how many percentages the different reasons for endangerment's represent, I decided to go with the more general reason, which is ‘humans’. I am unsure about the way it looks though, so it might be changed. I did however decide to remove one fact, the habitat, as it looked cluttered and that was the least interesting/important one.

EDIT: The question mark isn’t enough to show that those are the causes for endangerment... will have to rethink that one. I am also thinking that simply having symbols next to the information might not be enough, in the sense of an infographic. And so I have been trying to think of other ways of displaying the information. Perhaps pie charts for some...
