1. favorite fic you wrote this year

Definitely the stars are smiling. I struggled so much with the pacing while I was writing it and I’m just really happy not only with how it turned out but also with the fact that I overcame that struggle. Plus all the positive feedback on that fic makes me so so happy.

22. events you participated in this year

I participated in the @bhficfest (tsas) and @1dclicheficfest (filwy) this year. Both were prompts that I absolutely loved and it was so fun to put the fics together. Hoping to participate in more next year, though.

Louis’ thumb rubs back and forth across Harry’s jawline, cocky smile gleaming down. He squeezes Harry’s cheeks together just once before asking, “Like me now?”

Grinning in spite of all his efforts to suppress it, Harry reaches up to grab ahold of Louis’ wrist. It takes all his strength to make Louis’ hold waver even the slightest bit, and they’re both laughing too much to actually start a wrestling match right now, so he settles for resting his other hand on the denim covering Louis’ thigh.

A moment’s hesitation has Harry calming down from his laughing fit, Louis’ beautiful face calming him immensely. Both still have the remnants of smiles on their faces as the moment slows, their voices hushed and their eyes wandering.

“I’m serious,” Harry says. “You’re too perfect. You make me insecure.”

Louis frowns. “Do I?” he asks, dragging his hand from Harry’s chin down his chest. “Let me show you just how secure you should feel right now.”
