47. Archive Of Our Own, Fanfiction.net or Tumblr - where do you prefer to post and why? Fanfiction.net when it comes to fics.  There’s still a lot of elitism around AO3 (I’ve had people tell me they would love to read my older fics but they refuse to ‘stoop’ to reading on FF.net).  I honestly wouldn’t post at AO3 at all except I want my stories to get read and unfortunately a lot of people wouldn’t see them if I didn’t post them there.

(1) Last summer, at my family reunion, there was this one day that was just, like, the best day! In the morning my cousin & I went running, and then all the cousins went swimming off my uncle’s dock, and then my aunt told me all these crazy stories from when she used to live in Alaska. Then after dinner my two cousins & I had a dance party out on the dock, and then we came home and we had a little birthday party for me and my cousin.

(2) Over winter break, my two best friends my high school and our moms and I went to The Melting Pot (a fondue restaurant) to catch up. My one friend (who’s always a hoot and a half) kept making jokes that were hilarious, and our waiter was really cute so every time he’d come by we’d just burst out laughing about it. Plus, the food was super good.

(3) A few weeks ago, back when I was still at school, two friends and I took the bus to the mall. We ended up walking through Target, and we were in one of those really goofy moods where, like, everything was funny, so we were making fun of everything & laughing & just generally having a good time. Then we went to the Home Depot and I got an aloe plant (I’m currently working on a collection of succulents) and then we got dinner. It was a really nice way to spend the afternoon.

Not only was Mark Sloan a great man, but he was also a fantastic father. Derek, on the other hand, was not a good man but he was a decent father. Mark Sloan is far more redeemable than Derek Shepherd.
