When I watch #BlackPanther, I immediately notice the scale of the film before anything else. The large, dramatic set pieces, the wide angle shots that display all of this extravagant world and even the high energy, instrument-based music. - - In consideration of this, I start to think of where Ryan Coogler started from with ground-level, human films like FRUITVAILE STATION and where he could potentially end-up. - - With that being said, I don't think there is a bigger blockbuster director than Steven Spielberg, (director of Jaws, Jurassic Park and more) and I believe Ryan Coogler is poised to be his successor. - Check out my first #FilmInquiry article of the year now!
