Still editing the “unboxing” video & also recorded a jam session on the ARP 2600 too (which ended up being two hours long & I have to cut it down😆) It’s taken me way longer than I thought it would to edit it all. It’s a new week and I’m hitting the reset button. I’ve been sick with Hay Fever (and still am honestly) for about two weeks now. But I feel like I’m slowly getting better. Besides all the general allergy stuff, I’ve also been dealing with lots of ringing & muffled ears, so I’ve been forced to take a little break from headphone wearing & long hours composing for a bit. But I’m finally back in the studio and my ears are doing a lot better this week thankfully! I ordered a new synth for myself and it’s coming in the mail this week! It should be in today but I don’t trust “estimated shipping days”. Lol. I’m sure some of you have already read about this on my IG stories. But for those who haven’t heard, I’m going to be getting an ARP 2600 M LTD. I’ve wanted something new for a very long time and finally saved up enough money to get something! I did a ton of research & had a long debate with myself on what to get and what would work best with my own sound. And also something that would be super fun for me that my Roland Fantom X8 couldn’t do. So to say the least, I’m literally dying with excitement with the choice I made. This is the first time I’ve ever added a modular type synth to my own setup. So it’ll be really fun to learn for me. I’m an audio engineer so I’m sure it won’t be that difficult to pick up 🤓 But I have to be honest, I’m not sure if I’ll like working with it, if it’ll work with my own setup/work flow, or if I’ll even keep it. But I wanted to try it out and I know for fact it’ll be super fun to play with and learn! I’m already planning on posting some videos of it. Maybe an unboxing video? Idk.🤔 what do you guys think?
