(( I think I mentioned this once but maybe I didnāt?? Idk I forgor.
In my universe all PokĆ©mon content still exists. The TCG, the games, the anime, etc. Itās all considered fiction. In some cases I like to imagine the cartoons are ālive actionā using actors. Thatās why Iāve mentioned in past posts that the Darkrai in The Rise of Darkrai was an actual Darkrai actor that Dyo knows and hates lol And a recent post it mentioned the games and TCG just based designs of his species off that singular actor. And Dyoās butthurt about it.
I joked with my partner once that other Darkrai, like maybe in the anime, arenāt real and are instead something like a Zorua in disguise. Or maybe they use their equal to CGI? Stuff like that. Dyo can tell immediately if a Darkrai isnāt real, even if it looks like it.
Also I laugh imagining Ash being like a 30 year old man pretending to be a kid like some actors do IRL LMAO They had to get rid of his ass cause he got too oldā¦ damnā¦
I wager this results in their fictional world not aligning correctly not unlike ours doesnāt always match. Creative liberties and whatnot.
I also like to think people make up PokƩmon OCs exactly like we do with like. Fursonas. Pokesonas. All that. I figure that means there are probably PokƩmon equivalents to Otherkin/Therians? Idk.
Anyway. I made this post because I imagined Milly showing Dyo everyoneās Toyhouse Darkrai OCs and him reacting to them similar to how I do Darkrai Rankings but theyāre canonically still fictional in his universe too. Usually for Darkrai Rankings, when someone submits an OC, I pretend itās real. This is why Dyo points out canonical inaccuracies between canons lol
And then I thoughtā¦ damn. What if Milly showed Dyo Darkrai fanart on adult sites like Rule34 and E621? Oh no. The things he would sayā¦ I think he would either love humans or hate them even more when heās done. I do think he would mostly find it funny, though. ))
