Day 8 - TRH will fly to Fiji's capital of Suva, where they will spend the next few days. Once they arrive, they will will be greeted by a Guard of Honour at the airport, before calling on His Excellency The President of Fiji at Borron House.

There will be an official welcoming ceremony at Albert Park in their honour. The ceremony, known as the Veirqaraqaravi Vakavanua, embodies Fijian cultural identity and heritage, and will mirror in format that of the one attended by The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh in 1953.

Family time in Fiji.

Softly caressed by the warm breeze I watch the boys manoeuvre the hobie cat in a zigzag pattern of tacking across the azure blue water.  Small marshmallow foam whitecaps appear, a sign that the breeze has picked up to an acceptable level for sailing.  Bulla! We are in Fiji, for what has to be one of the longest holidays for the longest time, twelve straight days of relaxation, water sports, too…
