is something we all need to step out of every now and then. It allows us to grow and learn in new ways. It's as if it changes something within us. New experiences may be terrifying and worrisome, but they somehow also seem to be highly rewarding. How will we ever affect anything if we stay in the same spot? I've had my chance to get out of my comfort zone recently. I'm currently trying to get some fundraising started for Fight DMD at Freed-Hardeman. The first step was the idea and passion to do something good. The second was a little bit of planning. The third was to do a presentation for a small group of my closest friends. That was a little nerve wracking, but still easy enough. But tonight I had to give a small presentation to the Student Government Association on campus. It. Was. Scary. I hope that my audience couldn't tell how nervous I was. But what's a little sacrifice if I can help God do something big for the two little boys that have inspired this foundation.
